Down loader installed by dealer?

Down loader installed by dealer?
Has anyone had a down loader installed by the dealer on a new truck. If they did are you supposed to get the hardware that come with it? A down loader can be removed from a truck, if you have the hardware that came with it right.

I've read of dealers installing boxes and programmers and such. Yes you can remove the program if you have the exact programmer that was used. I believe they pull the stock program and store it and it's vin identified to your truck.

On both my 05 and 06 I had the dealer install a Bully Dog Triple Dog when the trucks were new and I have been given the programmer and everything else that comes with it.

I purchased it from the dealer i usually go to and he installed my EZ, Juice, and my Triple dog. He told me beforehand that my tranny warranty is out the door but the rest of my engine is still warrantied.

A GMC dealer here in Batavia, OH sells Edge Products, BD and installs them for free
