I just got my truck back fom DC today and he shows that my truck is boosting 10-14psi higher than outlook shows. which menas my truck is boosting about 54 psi on CL program. Anyone have any similiar probs.
At altitude I show o.1 psi boost, at sea level I idle at 3.3psi there has to be a sensor wrong somewhere. anyone know?

 

Anyone with any ideas, maybe abad sensor?

 

Bosch map sensor only capable of reading 40 PSI. After that the voltage on the sensor stays the same no matter how much boost is there.

 

dodge diesel tech having trouble figuring it out as well..

 

The Dodge sensor on the truck (MAP ?) is reading absolute pressure which is your gauge pressure plus 14.7psi. Is this what you asked ?

 

That is correct the DRB III reads a higher reading which factors in the atmospheric pressure of 14.7 lbs.
