Do you really require 1/2" fuel line
Your right...if he has it...run it.
1/2" push lock connections are for really strong hands too..lol.
Get that hairspray...grip glue...assembly grease....or something and a heat gun out!
I am not saying to not do it...just looking at what "might" be required.
If I had to do something from scratch...for a big system...
I would go 1/2 from tank to pump....1/2 to filter system...since most of the filter plates have 1/2 fittings anyways....then tee right after for dual 3/8 up the frame to the cp3's. That way you are not trying to bend 1/2 line up around the ever shrinking space under the hood.

When I was trying to make 700hp I was sure the small Fass pump would keep up. I saw some testing done on the pump that indicated the pump would flow enough to support well over 800hp.
The reality was the small Fass couldn't keep up not because it didn't flow enough, but because of the restriction I placed in front of it. The pump must flow enough to keep up a functional pressure head at full power, but it must also be able to keep up with all that and push the fuel through any restrictions on its way to the CP3(s). Something that is harder to do at sub 20psi pressures.
You really need to get an auto in that dyno queen so we can race!

Are you almost on the road again? My motor is going back together next week.
