1/2" line comes with the A/D 150 kit. That's some big shat, who runs it and is it necessary?

I think almost all the kits come with it dont they. I think several people run 2 pumps with 2, 1/2 inchers

Might not answer your question, but my AD100 has 1/2" line also, and when monitoring the fuel pressure it stays at 15 and slightly drops to 14, which tells me it is flowing plenty at close to 500 hp. Is it needed, probably not but it may be a contributing factor for you flow rate of the pump.

Alright, makes good sense.

I am a firm believer in 1/2 inch line....I think that it is the only reason why I can keep my rail full while running TNT#9 and RP-3!!!! Solid 25K!!!!

I say no. Maybe on a 1000 h.p. truck but not on a 500 h.p. truck. Isn't cquestad running 3/8" on his trucks?

It might not be needed for the HP I have but the kit comes with ½" hose so I used it, why wouldn't a person?

The GDP Walbro 392 + Big Line kit I put on a couple years ago came with 3/8" fuel line. This works fine for 580 h.p. or so...although I'm about at the limit of the stock CP3 and sticks now.

I don't think there is a problem using it. As long as the pump can keep the lines full.

Yep!

Tons and tons of 3/8's...with a little 5/16" OEM hardline too...I seem to not have a SUPPLY ISSUE.

My Raptor 150 drops from 20-22 psi to 10-12 psi WOT....but holds.

That is sufficent in my book for dual pumps. I had zero drop in a single pump application with the same lines. Dual pumps take a lot more lift pump than a single...modded or nlot...becuase the "extra" return/lube fuel is now twice the demand.

thats one of the reasons thats I bought the airdog for the bigger line. I had a glacier system before and it worked really well but I got a good deal from mark on the airdog so that was one of the factors is bigger line and filters I wanted

The glacier kits come with 3/8 parker hose, but ya why not use the 1/2" line? The volume of diesel will be there at least, there should be lots of volume for sure compared to 3/8".

Ahhhh, I just realized who was asking...

868 HP in April!
(That's twice what I got)

Howzit going Rob? If anyone should run the ½" it would be you, that truck of yours pumps out some very impressive numbers!
