Do I need a boost fooler with my smarty?

I am only running the smarty right now and when i tow i only hit 28psi or so and the temps are 1250 to 1350. Would a boost fooler help with the temps, i know the 05 has an electronic wastegate. does the smarty do any boost fooling?

you have to download the aftermarket turbo program to get more boost. it will disable the electronic wategate.

just the aftermarket turbo program, not turbo and injectors? Does this program run good enough with a stock turbo? Thanks

I think the aftermarket injector program would back timing off...

That's what I thought because aftermarket injectors advance the timing. Therefore the Smarty takes this into account and reduces timing in it's programs.

is anyone running the aftermarket turbo stock injector program with a stock turbo? I don't want to loose the version that I have if this doesn't work well.
I think that the latest one is Dec. 13th.

You definately want to run the aftermarket turbo / stock injector program....it's much better than the stock turbo / stock injector programs

It'll take you from a max of low 30's psi boost to 40+ psi....and it spools the turbo faster (diff fueling curve)....

Just watch your Boost PSI You can easily go past the 42 PSI limit (that's MY personal limit) I feel any more and it's starting to get out of the efficiency range and you are blowing hot air. I usually start to let off at around 38-40 PSI. I don't let of quickly but ease off. This helps prevent turbo bark.

When i ran the juice/att. I would usualy back off when i hit 38psi, I think your right, anything over 40 for to long is pushing it.
