tues day my htb2 62/14 should be here, and they said it is set at 40psi. i drive an 03 ctd will i need a boost fooler or not. also do any of the quad boxes do boost fooling?

 

I believe that the Quad boxes are set up for boost fooling, but you can send them to Quadzilla and have them reflashed to your particular settings.

The Quad boxes can be reflashed to add timing, not add timing, and I am pretty sure, boost fooling and no boost fooling. You may want to PM qzilla on here and ask him direct.

 

quad modules do boost fool.
without some form of added fuel, you will have some trouble spooling that turbo, and higher egts. get a module or programmer to give you some more fuel, some, not a ton....

 

As I said, I'm in a similar boat b/c I have an 03 and I bought an older Quad box. It's the old 3 position pressure only without boost fool. I also bought a boost elbow. Therefore I can build more boost and will have the fuel to go with it. Will I need a boost fooler so the ecm won't shut my fuel off?
