do you think that a truck that is 7 years old is to old to debadge i would like to debadge mine but im worried the paint maybe fadded where the letters aren't and when i take the decals off that it will show

I debaged by 01 and used goof-off to get the rest of the adhesive off and no paint problems under the emblems.
