Could unplugging IAT sensor on airbox cause...
I will guarantee 2 things, you did not get 23 mpg and I am not either your pal or buddy. Name calling is a bit lame, don't you think?
Why complain about a $1200 repair bill when you only paid a $100 deductible, you should have mentioned that in the first post? Personally if I were you, I would have done the job myself, purchasing the tools needed since they will be used again and again as part of my chosen career. Being a shade tree (gravel drive) mechanic builds character and would make you appreciate a clean work shop. You could then have saved all the money on the warranty.

?i got hot unlock for this reason. in case i sold the edge. which i might be. i might sell the edge and get a smarty. now isnt the hot ounlock and turbo timer a good option to have now that im selling it? Think a little.
Ive only went to hot unlock for like 10 seconds just to see how much smoke rolls out of exhaust.thats it. its always level 1-2. Dont believe me whatever.

So let's bring this back on topic and stop the bickering.
If they washed under the hood, the first thing I would do is pull the aftermarket harnesses and see if you can clear the codes and get the truck to run properly. Some of the guys are having some problems with water on the Quad stuff, Edge may have a problem too.

Admin we are on topic based on sally's comments in his multiple bumps of his own topic.

To the original question. Did you ask if they washed the engine? Is it working now? Did the shop or your extended warranty cover the repair to get the truck started? What were the other codes, you mentioned many but only posted two.

and still he won't answer the question. SALLY if you want help stop kicking a dead horse and get back on topic. CamperAndy asked you a question and still you persist on "jeally" WHO CARES. I am with Andy and the rest, we would be more helpful if you actually listened to what is being said and asked of your issues. Washing your engine down will do nothing unless you have CONCENTRATED pressure on the electrical connections. I wash my motor down regularly to ensure there are NO grease, oil, dirt build up which traps heat.
POST ALL CODES AND WHAT WAS DONE!
ok, off rant.

Fellows, their may be an issue with water on the aftermarket harnesses. There's another thread running, with pictures, of the failure prone areas. Pull all the aftermarket stuff and start over and until you solve the problem, you might want to stay away from the mileage discussions. (just a thought)
my two cents.....
i believe and always have. if you modify it, you are potentially looking at some type of issue down the road. period. when i bought my last two trucks, both new diesels (cummins, of course); i drove them off the lot, said, so long, wont be seeing you guys again, because i will modify them immediatly; exhaust, tuners, fuel systems, etc. i know in doing this i might 'bomb' things and i except that, but i do tend to get all teary eyed, when ma girl is not runnin right, so.....here is why i take that chance.
a) i try to fix all b) i know a certified mopar mechanic that can and will help me c) i know a certified cummins mechanic that can and will help me. these are the reasons i 'play'; you know the saying 'you play, you pay'. and if you are one of few individuals who have not had any problems? god bless ya!
i do however agree on one thing....you can see good mileage, i see just north of 20mpg, thats a fact. 660 miles on my last tank (68mph on highway everyday to work and back).
also, there have been many threads regarding quads elec. connections. and as far as monitoring your trucks internals? i would think that a mechanic would want the best, and correct me if i'm wrong, there are no substitutes for the real mcoys - GUAGES!
