commander x2 help question

So I have the x2 and commander, got that 2wire harness that is suppose to hook up from the x2 to the commander.

Heres the question

Where does that harness hook up to the commander to use the commander to switch levels?

I did the update to the commander, just need to know where the wire hooks up.

Where do you find instructions for hook up, the website instructions for the x2does not work.

The gray harness from the commander plugs into the harness coming from the engine compartment. You change chip positions with the 2nd and third button on the commander.

my x2 harness comes in from the engine compartment, plugs into the x2 box,

the commander is already hooked up to the sensors in the engine compartment.

where does the x2 hook to the commander?

they sent me a two wire harness, but not sure how that thing connects the two, while still sending power and stuff to the commander

wish they sent instructions with the x2 upgrade

i just finished installing my x2 and camander and fuel pres kit,the little 4 pin conector on the camander harness should have a blk and white wire on it conects to the 4pin conector that would go to your pod or switch,it should have a blk and white and red and blk on it,it has power to run the pod if u use the pod,its kinda confusing with a ll the harnesses and conectors but it will work, you will only be able to use 3 levels of the 5 on the x2 with the camander unless you update the camander and get yet another adapter of somkind,im waiting for the adapter now.works fine on the 3 levels now though

the green on off the commander plugs into the matching green one of the compartment harness, there is only one that i know of that it will fit, if ins connected and not working you have some other issue,

you are only going to use one of the jumper wire harnesses.

The one with the green plug is if you don't have the fp kit. Since you have the fp kit you are going to use the other one. It should have some tape on it, one side says fuel pressure, that goes on the open connector on the fuel pressure harness, the other side says module, that side goes to the module, you are now done.

Just did it yesterday

Works good

I only got one of the harness the two wire blk plug and green plug.

Am I understanding you correctly, there is another harness that needs to be used?

TIA

There are 2 harnesses to my understanding:

1) Green connector one side and Black on the other, this is for people without FP kit, connects where the FP kit would and then to the module on the other side.

2) Black connectors on both sides, one side connects to the open plug on the fuel pressure harness, the other side connects to the X2 module.

You are only going to use one of the harnesses depending on your specific application, but it sounds like you got the wrong harness.

funny thing hapend, after posting here about the new harness,i went to the mailbox and i had one,ya hes right the one for fuel pres is a blk to blk conector, they just changed the configuration of the wires,if you have a green plug yours is for no fuel pres,i installed mine and updated the camander and all seems well, except my fuel pres is diferent,i dont know what sendor i have, the 100psi or the 40psi,its gold kinda brass but no writing on it.i get 2 diferent readings if i chnge the setting on the camander.i guess as long as it doesnt go to 0 im ok
