I have a 2005 with the edgejuice and today I went to smoke the tires a little bit and tried 3rd and ended up killing the truck. Well the problem is that it is now flashing code p0335 but the truck still runs fine. I do not know what to do does anybody have a solution? Also I would like to add after I killed it I then started it up put it in 2nd and then smoked them a little bit. Is this a major problem and what would it take to fix it. I am really kinda freaked out about it.

P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit

Don't know why this code would show up, probably few different reasons. If the truck is running ok and what caused it is no longer happening then the code will eventually clear itself. It will take a number of start and run sequences to clear. An OBDII scanner should be able to clear it, Autozone used to do this for free.

 

Read a thread a while ago on a different site on the exact same thing. but for the life of me I can not find it again nor can I remember the explanation. It gave a good description on why it happened. I will keep looking, sorry could not help.
