Clutch Noise
Cool, those isspro's look good, I will work on it this week end, i want to see a steering column mount pod and see how that looks or if I just need to get the 3pod pillar mount, but as I start this new mod I will be asking for advice as I go!
I will keep you informed if there is any thing going going on in SA, and I will look at the DD but I cant find a price, it looks like the Con Ofe is about $1,400.00 w/ hd, so I wonder what the DD will cost, I dont think I will be doing ant boosted launches but no telling what will happen after some "colorado Koolaid"....lol But after this clutch i am getting the Air Dog because on Extreme RKL I am sure I will start draining the rail and my injectors wont have any fuel/lube!
How do you guys go from he needs a clutch from his description of something squeeks when he depresses the pedal?
I'd start with the pedal assembly. Try using some lithium grease on the pin that goes through the pushrod on the master cylinder. You could also grease the pedal itself, but that's alot more difficult. The pin that goes through the clutch pedal also goes through the brake pedal. It's a PIA to get the pin out with the pedal box in the vehicle. Second, I'd pull the slave cylinder off carefully and see if the installation cap on the end of the slave cylinder pushrod is broken or gone. Third, could be a lack of lube on the quill or release fork pivot.

Well if you are familiar with a blued clutch (fried) you will know that some are prone to squeaking and squealing during takeoff and downshifting (in some ppls cases, not everyones) and besides dude this thread has been in discussion for a few days now with constant relaying, if we were so wrong why hasn't he said it during the 5+ chances he posted?
Thanks for all the info and yes I did get a little off topic
, and since I have smoked the cltuch several times I believe it is "blued", but I will check the slave cylinder and yes any pics of pillar mounts and and column mounts are good, I do have the dual pillar and I am really thinking about a single column mount for the rail press.

I'll get you some pics posted manana when I get some daylight. Later on when I get my DiPricol RP gauge I will be adding a steering wheel pod to the mix for it. I like the 3 gauge pod more than the 2 gauge, for some reason it looks and feels more important looking.
