I'm in the market for a chip or programmer or something along those lines. I don't want major hp/torque increases, I do want a little extra get up and go, but would also like the ability to increase my mpg. Also I am under warranty and want something that will not leave a footprint or give me warranty issues with the dealer. The Smarty is a little pricy being I don't need the major increases in hp, how about Quad products, are they detectable? What are my options for a chip that will meet all of the above criteria?

Quad products are great! I've had the xzt 65 hp, it worked flawlessly. I now have the standard 100 hp module love it, though it will slip the clutch a little under certain circumstances They are undetectable by the dealer so long as you remove the module before any dealer service.
