what should I get for a performace chip/programmer to get better mpg along with a little more power......thanks for any help.

 

When i put the Superchips FlashPaq on mine i went from 17.4 to 22.8 thats what the overhead said.. The i put the 37's on 22's and it went to 18.8..

 

The overhead is not even close to accurate once you chip these things. You NEED to hand-calculate it if you want a reliable reading. I have heard good things about the Quadzilla XZT chip for milage

 

See i heard the overhead wasnt all that accurate, i just forget to do it the other way..

 

Its very difficult to put a number on mileage, power on the otherhand can easily be measured. Most of the folks I talk to have calculated anywhere from 1-2 miles on the average

I have been very happy with Quad's products. I have ran them on the 06 and the 05.

 

had the XZT and now own the Triple Dog. Triple Dog does much better for me with mileage. With the XZT I had more power and same mileage (vs stock), which is ok in my book, but when I stepped up to the Triple Dog - I then gained performance and economy! In the Tow mode, I could easily hang with the XZT, and have yet a longer range! I have a to the floor attitude, and still manage to get 16-17 avg. If I drove normal - Im sure I could see 19 avg.

 

Quadzilla All the Way, I have nothing but good things to say about that Box and their customer service is outstanding. I gained about 2-3 miles per mile. And towing is much better with my 28'' Toy hauler/ camper www.quadzillapower.com

 

I am using the SC Flashpaq in the tow mode on mine for now. Very happy with the resluts so far. The only other choice I would use as far as gas millage goes is the Quadzilla.
