When I decieded to install one in my 05, I put it on the right side of the dash next to the column.
Im using a old Radio Shack unit with a Wilson Mag Mount that does fairly well.
Iv got a pic of it in my gallery under 'dash"

 

Do you have any pics or can you get any pics of how you mounted your radio? I have the exact radio and want to mount it in my 07.

i have a 26 watt cobra 29 ...

wife has a "stock" cobra 75 and it puts out the advertised 4 watts ...

i like the adjustability and she likes the small package and weather channel ...

 

the 6sp makes for a tough install...
im running a general lee ... they run just under $200. " technecly " there not a cb... its a 10m amature radio.. 240+ chanels.. legal limit is 4w, this swings 50+.. no problem getting out 20+ miles loud and proud..

 

 

The Cobra 75 (which I have) must work fine because it's what comes with all Country Coach Motorhomes; including the $1,000,000+ ones so they thought it was worth it!
