Can you run FASS through fuel canister?

Can you run the FASS 150 through the stock fuel canister so we can still use the fuel heater? I live in cold cold canada lol. Do any of yous run the fass through the stock canister and if so what psi is it good up to? (30 psi)? and do you run it empty, or with 10 or 7 micron filter in it?

I run it through the stock filter canister but i dont have filters on my fass but plan on putting an inline filter kit on from gdp but i'm still going to run it through the stock canister cause there's a lot of guys making big power running through the stock system.

I decided to just go with the pump instead of the whole filter system but if i did it again i would probably go with the whole system.

I can tell you that the FASS/AD filters don't meet the OE spec for f/w sep.. .I would leave the OE filter in place for f/w sep.... Just use -AN fittings on the OE housing and flow shouldn't be affected.

But does running the FASS through a nother series of filters in the stock cannister housing over work the FASS pump motor......and create more fuel supply issues?

A ton of people bypass the cannister and run the line directly into pump ,without any issues........

Can after market filters be found for the FASS system that filter better?

I think the FASS 150 uses a 1-14 on the f/w.. so yes you could there... But the AD's and the FASS 100 use an oddball thread.

The OE filter is rated for the same flow as the final filters.. 80 GPH.. with better fittings it should not be an issue...
