Seems like bob and Marco take great care of their customers, found a Smarty locally going for a good price and was wondering if there is any reason not to buy it?

Wouldn't think anything is going to wear out. I would assume as long as I try it on my truck before I give him the cash to make sure it isn't VIN locked I should be fine right?

Basically I was just wondering if I have a problem with it a month or 6 months down the road do I still get the same good service even though I bought it used?

i thought the only way to be vin locked is if the previous owner didnt return his or her truck back to stock???
i bought one used,haven't tried it yet, having fuel issues, but as soon as thats out of the way, and the rds dry up, i will be trying it out.

 

Yea as long as it isn't vin locked it should be ok. I bought mine used for $400! He had only used it for 3 months. His truck burnt up and he didn't need it anymore. I also bought a set of 18x9 Helo Maxx8's wrapped in 325/60/18 terra grapplers for $500 from him!

Yeah and those wheels and tires weren't but a few months old too. A couple of the tires were a little charred up but it wasn't nothing that a few burnouts didn't fix! I ended up selling them to a buddy because I had already ordered my wheels and tires when he called me up and told me he was selling all of the goodies off of his truck that wasn't destroyed in the fire.

 

Marco has been happy to answer my questions even though I bought mine used.

 

I sent Bob an email asking the same thing...He answered right away, "Yes Sir no problem". Great customer service!

 

even if its vin locked they will be able to help you. trouble is the guy selling it is now hosed if its locked

 

Bob helped me out with my used Smarty my key counts got cleared and he sent me a recovery file.
