Boost numbers

Just put on a Isspro boost gauge and the SRT-10 pod so the question is what numbers are people getting for a stock 305 555 CTD. Mine is running a 24-25 psi then the waste gate opens?? and it drops to 23-24 psi. Does that sound about correct? Was told by others to get the 0-60psi because it tops out at 30-35psi stock. Glad I went with a good shop that told me to get the 0-30psi if it is reading correct.

The 30-35psi is what is seen on the 325/600+ configurations. Dont know from experience, but from reading many posts those numbers seem normal for a 305/555.

I know on my 600 with different boxes I can push 40psi pretty easy.

Got any night pics of the gauge mounted??

Those boost numbers are similiar to mine. I can hit 24psi with a load and then it settles at 22-23. If you put a box on it or change the waste elbow, you may end up maxing out that 0-30psi gauge.

The color and light at night look real good. It put a BIG smile on my face to take it out at night for the first time.

Mine is 24-25psi max.....this is with the Edge on level 4. I have not unpluged the Edge
to see if its a bit less. I dont have my boost elbow installed yet either ...I heard 30-31psi
with the elbow installed. That started me thinking, if I install the boost elbow then remove
the Edge when we tow up steep grades will I start throwing "over boost codes" ????

your truck will defuel over 26 psi if you dont have the box plugged in

a boost elbow will do no good for a stock truck

I can easily peg-out my boost gauge on my 305/555....I'm guessing it's hitting 34 or 35 psi based on the distance it goes past 30 psi. I'm also using the boost elbow supplied with the EDGE EZ.
