Which performace tuners or performance module increase boost? Maybe others have the same question. Reason I ask is that I have had some issue's with my Quadzilla module, but I really liked the added boost even at moderate power levels when towing. It's been awhile since i've towed, but if i recall corerectly iI would see about 40psi and kept the egt's low. I've had some problems with my quadzilla module that somehow have eluded the guru's who repair them (not knocking quadzilla at all, things happen), but i'm getting a little tired of sending it back. It's past its warranty period so i'm not asking for them to do much, it is what it is.... Anyhow, i'm looking around at different modules/tuners. I want something that gives about 60-100hp plus with good power, but mainly an increase in boost/boost fooling. Would prefer a downloadable unit like hypertech, superchips, etc. Already tried a smarty, loved it, but way too much smoke at the max power level and the girlfriend wouldn't drive the truck with that much power.

Neither superchips or hypertech say anything about increasing boost level's with the added power, which seems like they would have to increase boost level's with added power. Anyone have any insight?

 

When did you last run a Smarty?

The Smarty Jr is a great fit if you are mainly towing and pre-boost smoke is much lower than it was before and I get no smoke once I hit about 8psi of boost.
