Yes, another module/programmer question(s)

I have the 04.5 325/600 motor w/6spd. (4x4)

current motor upgrades are; AFE st.2 w/pg7 air intake, Rokktech crank sensor, Aeroturbine 4040L minus muffler, kitty, full set of gauges (including oil pressure), Pacbrake PRXB, Fass 95gph pump (on its way) & ATS 2 piece exhaust manifold.

possible future upgrades are; injectors (90hp), mild turbo(I like the new jammer from Edge but I don't think it will work w/Pacbrake and I'm keeping my Pacbrake, aftermarket intercooler if I can be convinced that the reduction in egt's will justify the cost.

Now, I'm wanting to enhance the electronics and have spent quite a bit of time researching all the options. I know the difference between pressure, pressure/timing, analog timing/duration, digital duration and timing/duration/pressure boxes. I plan on keeping this truck for a long time and don't want to compromise its durability and longevity. I don't need a box that monitors egt's (I already have gauge and don't want to install another pyro). Question 1 is: will adding any kind of pressure box (leaning towards TS Ramifier (mp8)) harm the hpcr system in the long term? Question 2 is: is there a timing/duration box (such as TST) that don't have monitoring (egt) features (again, I have gauges) and will such a timing/ duration box work w/Rokktech crank sensor?

You can conclude from the above that I am leaning towards the TST stacked w/TS ramifier. Can I get the TST w/out the egt function? will the TS ramifier compromise the hpcr longevity? if not, will this combo work well w/mods I have done thus far and the possible future upgrades?

As a sidenote, I like the TS ramifier because it is adjustable (infinitely) and they document the max rail pressure this box will allow. this is all just read knowledge, I need advice from people w/actual hands on experience. PLEASE!

You can get the TST w/o the gauges (R37 Remote) but I recommed you get the gauges so you can control the EGT backdown feature that the TST has. I have the R37 remote TST and the EGT based defueling works but I cannot adjust it or turn it off. As to the pressure box it won't hurt longetivity if you don't run with the fueling box on kill all the time but will hurt the rail relief valve and injectors if you do.
As to the turbo, most of the aftermarket offerings will work with you exhaust brake, I know that the TAD B1-04 works with the stock exhaust so your exhaust brake will also.

you seem pretty well informed, but i'll give you .02 if you have change...

the newer boxes need to monitor the EGT so that it has the total picture of what the motor is doing, and you need it so that the box can automatically defuel in case you don't have your eyes on the gauge for some reason.

why not move the analog pyro to before the turbo, and the electronic pyro after?

Why not put them both Pre Turbo. Gauge on #1,2,&3 exhaust rail and the Programmer on the hotter cylinders's #4,5&6 right above the Turbo.

I can run my analog gauge post turbo. I've been reading alot of old posts and I am convinced that the TST and the TS Ramifier would be a fantastic stack. Are any of you running the TST w/the Rokktech crank sensor? Are any of you stacking boxes w/exhaust brakes? I read a post that a certain downloader was setting codes due to the guys exhaust brake.

I really wish someone would chime in. The Ramifier, although it is a fueling box, will cause the computer to add some timing due to the MAP fooling, right? That in conjunction w/TST adding timing, will it be too much w/Rokktech crank sensor? The effect the Rokktech sensor had on my motor was very slight and it is my understanding that these 04.5 motors, w/the third injection event and slightly retarded timing, may react very nicely to this combo. Anybody know from experience?
