Boost Fooler

I have an 2003 that I have done some work to and I am trying to get more air into the motor to help with the 150 hp injectors in it.
I have the stage 2cold air kit and the mbrp 4 inch exhaust on it. I have the bullydog e3 box on it which just has an economy tune.

Anyways what does the boost fooler do and would it help?
I get confused reading about them saying a 2003-2004 you need to modify the turbo. So do I buy a boost fooler and have to modify the turbo? What do you gain besides boost? Will it give it more boost under normal driving or just under full throttle? Boy I ask a lot of questions. While I am on questions what is the purpose of advancing timing and how do you do that?

OH wow! Well, hate to burst your bubble, but have you done anything to support those injectors? That is a whole lot of stix... Stock cp3 is not adequate. Stock fuel pump same... stock turbo, no bueno! I could go on...

Look, good 150's are capable of fueling well over 800hp. I run 150s... look at my sig. DO you have anything to support them?

Your stock turbo, HE341, is good for about 350hp...

Boost fooler is the least of your problems. Don't fool with the timing at this point, with your setup now, you may melt something with too much timing.

I am not trying to berate you, but I don't want you to wreck your engine because no one told you better.

What do you see for boost now? Stock wastegate will only let it go to 26-27 psi. Different turbo needed for more air. Intake horn and exhaust manifold contain some restriction. Turbo is the biggest though.

soulezoo is correct.

Your Raptor is good, but the CP3 needs mods too. 150hp injectors are huge on a commonrail.

What boost, EGT's, fuel pressure, rail pressure #'s do you see now?

With your mods the intake and exhaust aren't doing much. You need a much larger turbo and some CP3 mods.

The injectors were in the truck when I got it and they have about 5000 miles on them. The paperwork says 150hp nozzles. Is there a difference in a nozzle and an entire 150 injector? These were installed at a diesel shop in the dayton Ohio area. Wouldnt you think they would have set up the pump for the nozzles? They also installed the raptor pump on the truck.
