Boost Fooler?

With my stack of the BDDL and Quad race, would a boost fooler really help much?

I have a Triple dog and just put in a Quad boost fooler yesterday, I pull 40 pounds boost now running on extreme, more boost = more power I'm guessing¿
Sposed to help EGT's too.
They're pretty cheap from Larry, but no so much if you live in Canada and gotta pay courier's "brokerage fees".

You will be able to push higher boost pressure...helps with power and drops the EGTs some. Really helps with towing as you're running a lil' higher boost which keeps the EGTs in check...

My freind bought the boost fooler and stacked it with his banks system and it made the Banks boost gage read alot lower. So we put it on my stock truck and this is what I notice. It seems to have alot better thottle responce "like now" also it does run alittle cooler on EGT. It just seems you get all the stock power in alot better flow it's snappy'r and just plain nice. It's going to hard to give it back. So I think a an XZT or standard modula is going to happen.

Well my last post here is correct with no load just highway and town driving BUT! This weekend after having to remove xzt box (read xzt/cb not jive'n) I put the boost fooler on a stock truck except muffler delete.
First this is the situation. 9000 lbs toyhauler loaded,102 degrees, mountain grades of 7%.
Well this is what happened the boost fooler caused high egt's, poor throtlte responce all though the gears almost like a lack of power like i was pulling a 20000lbs. I'd be reading 28-32 psi of boost at 40 mphs 3rd gear egts at 1400 had to start backing off throttle. So after 20 miles of Puckering I got a chance to pull over and remove boost fooler and I had my truck back. Going up the hills at 60mph 2200-2400 rpm 3rd gear 22 psi boost egt's at 1200-1300 max,210water temp,102 degrees out side AC was off with it on didn't change just a little more drag on motor.
So I'm going to keep the boost fooler and try it with a progammer that does not have it and see how it compairs to what info I have gathed this weekend.
Also my buddy with the Banks 6 gun and he was hitting 1500 degrees on EGT's so he got to call Banks on that one because it's suppose to back off when it's that hot??

HUH!! not sure on your post there ohyeahfriday. You live in Jersey I live in AZ??
Anyway this post is to tell you this is what I found and this is something I do at least once a month(towing in 100plus degrees) I would not B.S. anyone here. Just plain facts. I can tell you that I wish it was not true.
I'm starting to think just leave it stock and she'll do want I want. Any time you mess with something you get less or worse then you want but not always some seem to have great luck.

noooo, that was aimed at Goodeye, as he tried out my Predator @ the lst GTG. Sorry to hear your mixed/negative results with the boost fooler man, like I said, I am waiting to get my gauges in, and "babying it" until then to avoid any problems.

I got the quab boost fooler last summer only used it for one day. Saving it for my new Turbo. I run a Diablo Predator with the 200hp custom tune. With the boost fooler installed the most Boost the ECU will see (tested via Diablo diagnostics) is 24PSI. So I would guess any Downloader will not see full boost and will not deliver the max fuel from the selected program. It sure looked like it was prety linear, so at all boost levels the ECU will get lower boost than without the fooler. I think this will mean less power at any point within stock boost range.

Above stock levels, who knows how much the extra boost will compensate for ECU being fooled.
