If I install a boost elbow on my 04 with the predator module will this in turn make it fuel more, less or just stay the same but with a increase in my boost? I am not quite sure how the electronics work on the new models as my last truck was a 98 12V

 

Is this the same as blocking off the wastegate?

 

A boost elbow only holds wastegate gate closed longer to raise boost levels.
and could be death for stock turbo with one good bark!

beware of the boost elbow. Make sure you have a boost gauge if you intend on installing. Like pcburnout said, its designed to up your boost before the wastegate kicks in. From my understanding, barking the turbo is hard on the shaft, and its simply best not to be done. Basically, you do it by going WOT and then just letting off the pedal. The sudden decrease in airflow will cause the turbo to bark. This is predominately seen on high HP engines who can rev the snot out of the turbo. Someone please correct if I am misguiden.
