Blow By?
My truck was running and I unscrewed the oil fill cap and I have some smoke coming out, not a lot but you can see it. Do I have a major problem about to surface or is this normal?

If this is on your '07... you got something goin on in there.
Rings, probably... but who knows... anything that provides a path for the exhaust gases to get into the crankcase is suspect on something that new.

Guys, his truck is pretty new, his rings may not have set yet. I would expect some blowby if the rings aren't set. And anyhow any you are gonna see some blowby from these trucks anyhow.

Well it not not alot, but you can see some... and yes the truck was warm and I have 73k on it... I am in sales so I drive alot everyday, is this some thing i can take to the dealer and get under warranty? Of course I will take everything off the truck, what do ya'll think, I am getting close the 100k mark and then no more warranty so if I can get some free work I will try.

yea, I'm in agreement with that last comment 100%. Probably nothin wrong and if you're the only driver, I'm guessing majority of those miles were highway. You know, those taxi cabs in New York last almost forever because they never hardly shut 'em down!
If those engines are always warm and runnin... they live good.
I'd run it and with those kind of miles you're probably going to trade up soon anyway. LoL
I hear those Cummins usually need an inframe overhaul at 300,000. Better save up for next years overhaul! LoL
