bigger charger or twins

My aurora 5000 is doing me well but the truck smokes like a fright train even at high boost (55-65psi) my pulling club allows an unlimited single turbo, or 2.8" on a twins for size. and i can use a bushing on the big turbo to bring it down to a 2.8". I'm looking to make 850+ hp

The set ups theat i was thinking about:
buy a twin setup (dont know whos)

make my own twins with the a5000 as the small one

or get a big garrett turbo and hope that i can spool it (gt 45 or a gt47?)

any help or input would be great!

is the truck a daily driver, or puller only?

let me get this straight, your still billowing black smoke at WOT with a Aurora 5000 AND water injection?

I think the Aurora 5000 would be a little big for a top turbo, just my opinion

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but, water injection is not going to reduce smoke. It does nothing to burn the un-burned fuel. That would be an application for Nitrous.

Water should help the smoke a little...there is oxygen in it.

The water is going to help reduce the charge air temps which means cooler denser air which will help to burn more fuel. That should help clean up some smoke.

If you dont mind me askin whos injectors are you runnin? What lpm?

It may be worth tryin a 66 on top, but then again if its just a puller, go ahead on with the phat bastard, if that dont clear the smoke up I dont know what will.

the injectors are edm'd out to 12 thousandths and then they where extrude honed out to flow evenly and i think he told me that they where another 35-45% over but i can't honestly remember, and he four warned me about these things flowing some serious fuel.

For an A5k to not be able to clean up the smoke, that is some serous fuel.

Is the aurora 5k a good turbo? And i have done alot of research and am still confused about which makes more power twins or big single? Seems like the big single guys are making more power.
