BFG 315 Ok for spare?

Just wondering if anyone had thoughts on using a BFG 315 AT KO as a spare for the Toyo 35x12.50x17 mt. About the same size. I got a good deal on a unused Hummer take off (spare). I put in on the 7.5 in steel dodge spare wheel. Now I just have to get rid of the H2 Chrome wheel.
I have a Kore Chase 3500 4x4 mega. Pic in gallery

It's a tight fit, but it will go up in there. Should be pretty close to the same diameter of the Toyos, so no worries there.

Hey banshee, do you have a 315 spare with your 5" exhaust? I havent put mine on the spare rim yet as i wasnt sure it would fit with the 5'er in there.

I have it mounted up in the rear where the spare usually goes. 2 inches from my exhaust pipe. If you shift it around a little when cranking it up you can get it to fit pretty well.
I was not sure how close it would be in size to the toyo. I am a little concerned with it mounted on the stock steel rim, it is a little narrow at 7.5 or so. My Centerlines are 8.5's. The stock alloys are 8's. I hopefully wont use it that much.

I have a 35" spare with about two inches of clearance from the exhaust and 1/2" from the shock. Of course, this could be used as a good excuse for getting stacks.

does anyone have a mag-hytec rear diff cover with the h2 spare mounted? Does it fit ok? Also does anyone have the mopar rear wheel liners installed with the H2 tires? are there any rubbing issues? Thanks.

Haven't got around to modding the rims yet, and I also have the rear wheel liners to install and am thinking about a mag-hytec bundle for xmas

yeah, I have the 315 spare with my 5" exhaust. My spare is a worn bfg, and it rests pretty firmly against an exhaust hangar and the rear frame crossmember. You have to guide it up into place a certain way, but it fits!
