Beta 4.4 vs 4.11 wild

I have been running 4.4 for a while now. I usually see max boost at 34psi and max rail pressure will spike over 26k.
Just loaded 4.11 wild with aftermarket turbo/stock injectors tonight. Boost still only max at 34 psi. Rail pressure still spikes over 26k but not as easy. I thought 4.11 doesn't raise pressure. Can that be right?
Also I have noticed that both programs, rail pressure at idle will jump around quite a bit +/- 1k. Is that normal?

I am running the 4.11 wild with a ts pressure box and at idle I see 5k and only jumps around about 10 15 psi in rail at wot I see about 26,350. but my boost is 34 to 35 psi.

Your situation dose not sound normal to me I have no idea what is wrong.

Anyone else? Could it be the Commander? I figured that because it got its readings from the rail pressure sensor that it should be accurate?
Do the 03's have a mechanical wategate? Do I need to use a boost elbow to see higher boost?

Absolutly yes! More boost will also help your EGT's greatly!

The 4.11 does not raise the RP. I do work with the RP in certain RPM ranges. Sorry I can't tell you more, that's proprietary information.

The "beta 4.4" instead DOES ramp up the RP in a rather aggressive manner.
Two different softwares for different uses. One a daily driver, the other more aggressive close to a race software.

Helps?

Marco
On edit, second thought. Don't get confused by the answers you might get. The 04.5 and up trucks run higher RP's in stock form than the 03's-04's.

Thanks Marco. Looks like I should try an elbow.

As far as max RP on the 4.11, any idea why I might be getting false readings? What should be the max on 4.11 wild? 23.5k? Would that have anything to do with my RP at idle jumping around? Seems like RP will flucuate 800-1000 psi at idle consistently. Could that be a symptom that I might be losing an injector?

I'll have to do some more testing tonight. Maybe I'll go back to stock to see if it does the same.

Thanks J,C,
Definetly like the 4.4 better than the 4.11. My other half needed to borrow my truck today and I didn't want her to smoke anyone out with the 4.4. You really need to adjust your driving habit with the 4.4.

I'll probably reload the 4.4 until the REVO come out.

I thought the new 4.11 was the final public release of the 4.4?

You can try an adjustable boost elbow, but it looks like you have a stock turbo? If thats so... it will not last long with the fueling from the Smarty.

My Commander does the same thing. Pressure fluctuates by about 1K pretty much all the time.
