Both trucks are loaded pretty much the same - used to run around at 10K#, starting last season we knocked 'em back down to GVW...

'98 eats front tires, '05 eats rears...

FWIW, we're putting 38" Toyo MTs (16" alloys) on the '98

If I wasn't replacing the 37" Toyos with 19.5" wheels & tires, I'd keep running them for the weight capacity, off-road performance and looks.

I have the pro comp xtreme a/ts and they wear great and are a good all around tire. They come with an E rating for towing and I have almost 25000 on them and about 50% tread left. They do pretty good offroad and look good too

I run the dick cepek mountain cats first time with these tires and I am way impressed. My opionion I would take these anyday over the Toyo mts but they are loud on the road. I have 8000 miles on them and they have a little wear on the backs and thats from doing burnouts fronts still look brand new. I know a couple guys with them in 35" and they suck for wear for them 15000 miles and getting worn down pretty good. Last set of tires I bought was pro comp extreme at and They are quite and they wear good and still are pretty aggressive for playing around

I guess my cooper atr's have spoiled me. I have around 60k miles on them and they still have 10k or more on them. To bad cooper does'nt make a 37" tire that would wear like that. Thanks for all the info.

Goodyear 37" GSA's

Jason Hughes@Hughes Racing Components is running Goodyear GSA's in an AT treadwear pattern. They're supposed to be super tough and come in an "E" rating. I don't know about cost.

I've got Pro comp extreme all terrains, and I love them so far. I only have about 2k miles on them, but I see them lasting at least 45k-50k miles.
