Right front tire wearing faster?

I remember someone posting that they had trouble with one front tire wearing faster than the other but I cant remember the answers he got. And I've just been noticing that my right front is just about getting smooth as the other has some tread left. I am planning on tires in the next few weeks but I dont want to do this to another (expensive) set. The truck only has just under 50k miles and doesnt get abused by off roading either so I cant believe I have worn parts allready. It unfortunatly does pull a little to the right sometimes, depending on road camber and side wind, but I know the allignment is OK and everything feels tight under there. Any ideas before I go and lay out a lot of money for tires?

Is it the whole tire wearing or just the outter tread. My truck the right side outter tread wears a little more than the rest and i also have a slight pull to the right. I'm just wondering if it comes from making left hand turns. Lefthand turns are made at a faster speed than rights thus more scrubbing of the outter edge. Just a thought.

Check your tie rod ends. The steering box controls the right side wheel. The left side wheel is connected by the tir rod. If the joints are loose all the steering is fromt he right side wheel while the left side sort of floats.
