Pulling wearing down on the ol' 98
My dad has a 98' Dodge Cummins 3500 SLT Lamarie 5spd 4x4 dually. He pulls a steel cattle trailer, a dump trailer, and a flatbed with a Bobcat 864 track loader with a bobcat backhoe. He says by pulling all of this, it is wearing out the front end. I don't really know what he means, anyone else experinced anything like this?
With the weight of the Cummins engine the front end is marginal to say the least.
You don't even need to tow to wear it out.
Most folks are replacing ball joints and the track bar before 100k.
