? is ive been running a quad 3 position chip for bout 80k miles been pleased with power and fuel milage 98% on 60 hp

just had my injectors changed and the guy said that the quad caused the injectors to go out because of the boosted fuel pressure so be it truck was smoking at idle put new inj. now its not

got a tripledog last nite just finished updating to lastest version so how will it compare set on tow with the low end power on also

to the quad on 60

what are the hp settings on the tripledog just the basic settings no CL

 

What tranny? I hated every tune BD had for my 03. I tried all the programs they had and the fueling was either weak or not at all linear. Good luck on a 305/555

 

Funny timing. Im STILL trying to get a smooth power delivery out of my Bully Dog. I just talked to a tech there today and he said they gave up on the 555 trucks long ago. I just now reinstalled the TD243. Its the latest version for our 555s. Mine has just never pulled clean up to redline with this tuner. It works nice with the extra low end, but has zero top end. If I dont use the extra low end, its a pig down low and still doesnt like to rev past 2500 at WOT. Cant figure out why...

real touchy throttle down low seems to have power up to half throttle after that dead on top like mentioned

set on tow with the low end power setting

26 psi boost tops WOT less then 1400 egt WOT

the instant power is wow then starts to fade away

 

no problem getting to 3 thousand plus RPMS

After loading the TD243 tune again, the truck is running much better. I have it on extreme, for now, and it runs good. Not fast by any means, but it pulls nice and clean all the way to the shiftpoints. Its a start!

 

turned the extra low end off and have to have the BD TD on extreme to really tell it has a programmer
