the trucks are designed for diffrent uses dodge brought the mega cab out for the industrial market the guys who tow around equipment and the work crew in one rig little did they know us family guys would love them. when they unveiled the truck they said they did not think to many average truck buyers (noncompany) would not want to shell out the money for the room. wrong again. if you have a family like me its the greatest put the kids back there and the dog the quad was good too but if a little is good then a whole lot is great. to bad they stoped making them but i gots mine

The back doors are much longer on a MC than a QC. The back seats are deeper, can be reclined, and there is storage behind the back seat. There is also 12 to 18 inches from the back of the front seat to the front of the back seat.

Dodge should have put in an intercom!

Not having taken a tape measurer to the actual doors themselves, I would say they are about the same width. I know you can get a good-sized box in the back door and the ability to fold down the seats and haul stuff out of the weather is a really nice feature to have. I have filled the bed and the back seat area, actually holds more than an 8' bed does overall.

He must have been rejected by some woman with a Mega Cab eh?? Or some Mega Cab rejected his truck?? Does MANvan really mean MANLYvan or possibly WO-MAN-ly van?? Maybe MEGA LIMO is too much for him??

Everyone blows their own horn brett . . be hard for someone else in another vehicle to blow it for you. Maybe the real problem is that someone else IS blowing your horn for you??

Actually, that horn blowin you hear is my kids. I had to install a horn switch back there so they wouldn't have to yell to get my attention!

I love my quad cab, because it has the 8' bed, and I NEVER sit back there, and NEVER will. I like the mega cab because if anyone has to sit back there, its SWEET, but I don't like it because I use all of my 8' bed, a lot of the time, and you can't get a mega with a long bed.

I'm not sure this is fact. Dodge is certainly making 2008 Megacabs, but from what I've gathered, there will not be a 1500 Megacab for the new 1500 body style in 2009. The new body style for the 2500/3500 is not expected until 2010, but will still include a Megacab version. This is all hearsay, if you have inside info I'd love to hear more details.

(I don't sit on the Dodge Board of Directors but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.)
