Yep...great turbo. I have run one hard for 35k. ATS will have a few more options availible soon. Wait for them or get the 5000 now...either way you will be happy. Major EGT control.

400+ degrees drop at wide open throttle with TST on 7x7. ATS will have to comment on retail.

How much horsey powr did that thing make on 7/7 with the turbo? Its sounds very nice from the limited people that have run it.

400+* drop? Dang. That's amazing. Is this a ball bearing turbo?

I am not sure how much Clint wants me to discuss. Maybe the best thing to do is to call ATS for the specifics...sorry.

On ATS's Mustang Dyno at 5300 feet with out a correction, I was turning a bit over 400hp/850ft-lbs with the just the MILD TST program, 37's, ATS Stage 5, and no pusher pump (I was running out of fuel). I have not been on the dyno since I fixed the fuel supply program. In a month or so I will be back with the Aggressive or Twins program, maybe injectors, and a small pressure box depending on things pan out. The stock truck did 200hp/400ft-lbs earlier in the week.

I can run 7-7 from 0-120 and just touch 1400 egt in Boise right now. I ran a tiny bit higher in Denver.

Don...injectors please...hint hint.

If yours is at 1400 I bet this 600 would be over 1600, they just run hotter than the 555 engine but right now my truck would probably hit over 1800 under those same circumstances so it would be an improvement. They told me it was not a ball bearing turbo and it costs over half what it would take to put a set of twins on.

Nope...Same temp at the same power. Fuel is fuel.

Your truck could hit 2,000 egt on higher settings of the TST with the stock turbo under the right settings...real world.

Wing, load, incline, towing...etc.

My EGT numbers are real world WORST case!

Another comment on my dyno numbers. I feel the net difference between the two runs is what is important. Every truck on the dyno that week had "low" baselines compared to what most people post (from a Dynojet)...

Looks like I need to get on a Dynojet soon to compare numbers to the rest of the world.

I could get my stock truck to hit 1400 EGT anyways...I don't think I have a "cool" running truck compared to a 600 at all. My brothers 600 runs the same temps.

CQ, with everything else being the same, the 600's run a lot hotter.

Not at the same power level Lightman.

A 600 that makes 350 hp runs almost the same temp that a 305 does at 350 hp.
Both trucks stock other than additional fuel.

If you bumped a 305 to 325 with a small box...it would almost (i said almost) run the same temp. They increased the turbo size, resulting boost, airbox size, etc on the 600 to counter the small bump in power and additional injection event.

This opinion is also based on the real world comparions between an 04 and 04.5 and various fueling setups...stock intake, turbo, exhaust and with modded intake, turbo, exhaust.

Does that make more sense? I tried to get that point out earlier...just with less words.

I have one on my Duramax. The driveablilty is just short of amazing for such a large turbo. With the same programming as before plus 20% bigger injector nozzles I'm seeing 50psi of boost compared to 27 with the stock turbo and stock injectors. With more fuel from the 20% bigger injector my max EGT's are now are 1600 degrees compared to 1800 degrees with the stock turbo and injectors. Now the truck feels as fast if not faster than it was on nitrous.
