Sorry didn't know how else to get this answer,I have 03 with 62mm over 80mm,TST,TS rail,Smarty and Flux Core injectors. What is the largest i can open these injectors up to and still have good fuel milage and control smoke,It's a 6 speed and I'll ditch the TST if needed, looking for the most hp possible and still keep it a street truck and yes i do tow. Thanks in advance for all the help.Oh and just sent 6.7 rail pump to have modded by John At Floor it Diesel to Stage 3.

Best to talk to one of his vendors, but for guys that tow and dont want alot of smoke I think a 1.8 - 2.0 would be perfect.

Agree with the above-- would not go over 2.0.

Depends on opions...

I don't see twin cp3's...so I would resolve that problem first...then creep up on 3.0's.

3.3's

If your are carefull...they are very drivable/towable. Probably the max for a 62 unless it is a 71 wheel.

Maybe not...

I daily drive Flux 3.3's on a 2007 (the later common rails fuel 20-4-hp harder).
The 3.3's drive and run as well as a stock truck, but they will smoke if you drive carelessly and they do sacrifice a small amount of economy.
If you can afford to drive your truck as it is you can afford the 3.3's.

Fuel economy is highly over rated...get a Jeta if you want economy.

Horsepower on the other hand.....

I've been taking off the high performance stuff on my 03 and now all I have is Flux 2's silver 62 and intake and exhaust and the truck hardly smokes at all. Egts are way down when I drove it yesterday I didn't even see 1000 deg. The truck still went ok but it sure seemed like a slug without the Smarty/TST stack.
See ya,
Topper
