c-hawk,

Did you ever get your replacement box to test with? I am interested as to your finding with the new one and see how you like it.

I haven't had a chance to mess with it again yet. The truck is in pieces getting a bunch of upgrades at the moment. I will get around to testing the new shift master box, but unfortunately I think it will probably be another few weeks before it happens.

I'll second this comment. TS has been great to me. They were very helpful with the various things I tried on my '03.

I'm pretty sure DTT had to spell it that way in order to get a trademark on the name.

So it sounds like this TS module is still in the beta testing phase. I love it when companies sell their products to us at full price so we can do all the work for them.

ts has made a lock up controller for a while. I just went with a lock up switch because the old version they quoted me almost 500 installed. im sure they work good but I would rather put that money in the engine. I have about $5 invested in a lock up switch

White97GTVert,

I just got the truck running again in the last few days. I have been very short on time and getting around to working on my own truck has taken me a LOT longer then i planned. I did install the shift master late last night, but was too tired to even test drive it. I will take it for a spin this evening and let you know how it goes.

jrussell,

I don't fault TS for this at all. I have a connector on my tv actuator motor that is not even shown in my 9000+ page factory service manual. I happen to be the first person they came across that had this different harness. go figure. TS has been a pleasure to deal with, and i have actually become more fond of them as a company since this "problem" came up. I have dealt with DTT before also, used to be a huge fan... will not deal with them again because of the way they have dealt with more then a few people i know, but that's a topic for a different time and place.

I hear ya. It just stinks that your 2 year old truck has a connector they've never seen or heard of before. There has to be more trucks out there with the 6 wires...your's can't be the only one.

When I have a chance I'll go outside and see if my '06 is the same as yours.

No doubt there are more of them... I'm just saying, if it isn't even in my factory service manual (and it's wasn't on the trucks they happened to test with), they had no way of seeing this coming. This is a fairly new product, so it's not surprising to me that they haven't heard of this before if it's unusual (and i'm assuming it's rare based on the service manual thing).

Well, I finally got around to trying the new shift master module. It works well! Holds out the light throttle shifts and there is a noticeable difference between the 3 settings.

Thanks a LOT to TS for working through this with me, and a special thanks to Clint.
