No MPG increases in the XZT either. I think the only people that 'see' MPG increases drive like a bat out of hell before the chip, get the chip, drive like an old lady for one tank so they can check the milage, get 30% better milage for that tank, and now believe they have a genuine MPG increase.

I installed mine about 3 weeks ago after waiting for 6weeks for it to get to me from extremediesel. Evedently they had a huge rush on orders when they first came out. I have noticed a difference in my mileage. I usually get about 350 miles out of 24 gallons just driving back and forth to work, which lasts about 2 weeks on a single tank. With the module in I'm getting close to 400-425 miles per tank. Roughly 2mpg better! Well worth it, plus gear changes are noticably much smoother, it holds in third a little longer, so take offs are easier, and makes for less gear shifts in town. Also cuts down smoke a lot. Even standing on the accelerator it lets out only a slight cloud at best. I absolutely love it! Best mod. for the money. I'm getting around 18mpg in town by actual mileage calculations, not the on board comp.

Mark,

I agree, this is my second tank, and zero difference. I drive like a ole lady on Sunday anyway so your analogy is probably right on. I do think the engine is running somewhat smoother though while running through the gears.

Quad, seems like the Majority are not seeing any real noticeable difference. Will there be any software updates to the Module to maybe get these numbers up?/or no hassel returns?

I believe once you've open up the exhaust system and Intake, lightened up the foot pressure , some attention to the fuel your putting in and also the brand of oil,....Thats about it...it is what it is at that point.

Your probably right!! I use to drive as fast as I could (within reason of course 72-74 in a 65MPH) but this was all while I was pulling, then reading about how much your MPG's can increase just by reducing your speed slightly I now do 65 in a 65 and have noticed better MPG's. I have no doubt that in some situations the Mileage Max helps out people but I have read it doesnt help much when towing so that leaves me little drive time without towing so maybe next spring/summer ill give it a try but now that winter is here along with the cold weather means more idle time for my truck so this would be a bad time for me to try it out.

We had to take our 6.7L in for another recall from Dodge.

They cannot seem to keep the same programming in them for very long right now.

We actually are testing an update right now that is more aggressive for those that drive really easy with their trucks. We did some testing with a couple of guys and with their driving style the module was actually never at a point where it hardly made any changes. So we are going to have an update for that.

I would not say the majority are not seeing increases. I would say that majority that we sell overall are seeing a gain. I do not know of anyone that lost mileage and most see some improvement.

I have always said there will be trucks it does not work as well on. Some trucks get crazy mileage stock. Most do not. I also think some driving styles are milking very good mileage out of the trucks to begin with and it makes it harder to get mileage from those trucks although the newer update should help with that.

Thanks Quad! Looking forward to the updated code. Hopefully it will be out in the next couple weeks. These NW diesel prices are killing me.

Thanks quad, your right,, I did not loose mileage.. Heading to the Highway tomorrow.. we'll see how it performs there. Too bad we cant find a way to cut the fuel consumption rate even more while sitting in traffic/stop and go. looking forward to the update.

So why spend $300 to find out that you did not lose any milage? If the chip gets you more power, great, claim more power. However, stop making claims that the chip increases mileage. Most that drive for mileage before getting the chip have seen no increase in MPG after the chip.

so does this mean the new mmm tune will do its job all thru the rpm range?i read that it only does its job at 1600-2200 now,ive been doing lots of in town driving and dont get over 1600 all the time so this update may be just what im looking for.looking forward to it.

Have you polled all the people that have them? I mean we have only shipped 3,800 of them. Did you speak with the "most" of the purchasers??

#1-the MMM is $179 NOT $300
#2-it DOES work in my particular case(pulling a 40 ft trailer 65-70mph)
#3-it has a money back guarantee
$4-if you and chumstone don't like our replies get one and post your own replies BEFORE knocking something you haven't tried

AMEN! I have posted my experiences about it, and can say, beyond a shadow of a doubt, it was money well spent for me. I can only hope that the new update will make mine even better!
