anyone tried the MILEAGE MAX module?
Dragging the $$$ out of the powers that be is why I don't have one and may never have one.
My next fill up is gonna s*ck. I towed the 5,400 dual axle tank trailer over to Bryan, TX against a tough head wind. Drove the overhead down 1.5ish.
And didn't get near the help by the wind I expected coming back.
With low 200 miles gone, overhead says 380ish left on the way home from the bowling alley. EEK!

Well I went and ordered the MMM from Larry. It is hard to judge weather it works or not from reading these posts so with the return policy I guess you need to try it yourself. Hope it works out even if I just get a 1mpg increase it would be worth it.

I have some miles under my belt with a MAX now so I will give you my thoughts.
Pulling a heavy loaded trailer - there is no advantage.
Running around to and from town and around there is a good savings to be had - with my truck anyway.(1-2 MPG)
What I am failing to understand is why I don't see much of a increase running down the highway with the cruse set, maybe the higher RPM's?
Case in point- I was hunting last weekend lots of idling around from field to field, out in the pastures working on deer stands, too and from town, 420 miles in all and made 19.05 MPG.
Drove home with the cruse set and only made 20.5MPG, it made 20.6MPG driving up to my hunting area.(340 miles each way)
I would buy the MAX again based on the gain I get on local driving which is the majority of my driving now anyway.
Can't beat the warranty they have.
A person also has to take in account I have 322,000 miles on my truck and still have the original VP and engine sensors!

O.K. all........I had modest improvements with my 100 mile per day commute but just got back from a 1600 mile trip. Over the last 5 days, 1200 miles hwy. 400 miles back country gravel roads, hills, and such. Total trip result was..........drumroll please.............21.897 mpg ! Before this trip, the closest thing I had to compare was a 1000 mile trip with about 450 of that being the backroad driving. Total trip mileage was 19 mpg. Can't recall the decimals after it either.
At the time of the 1000 mile trip, there were absolutely NO mods to the truck besides the K&N. Bone stock otherwise. I would have to say that the module, however, was the biggest gain. I really can't see any of my other mods making this large of an impact. Hope that others can see some of the same results!

Hate to be a bearer of bad news, but I've had my MMM for 4 thousand miles or so and am taking it off. Originally it worked fine, but lately my truck has ran like crap, and it is throwing codes (all having to do with rail pressure, one area that this thing adjusts). I did all service maintenance and it still threw codes (check engine light). Once I unplugged it and returned to stock, truck ran fine. I called Qzilla and they gave me a jerry rig type of fix, which I am not going to try (I'm too cautious to jerry rig a $30,000 truck). On the plus side, it does work! I saw a 10% increase over stock mileage and when removed mileage again dropped. I'm getting the run around about warranty cause I did not buy box directly from Qzilla and most likely they won't be able to duplicate my problems.
Over 32800 hits on this subject and 360+ replies and practically no responses to MPG increases. It's been more than a month since I have looked at this thread and I'm very disappointed. Please post your MPG gains or losses. Thanks
Right now we are re-working on stuff since we just got our latest recall done.
