I never have anything shipped directly to me in Canada. Since I happen to live very close to the US border I established an account with a shipping/receiving company in the US that is approx 1/2 mile from the CAN/US border. When I order things from the US I have it shipped to my shipping address in the US. When my shippment is received at my US shipping address, the company sends me an email and I go and pick it up. For that service they charge $3.00 per parcel. Then I head for the Canadian Border and declare exactly what I purchased and the actual cost. Many times if the order is less than $50 they just wave me through without having to pay PS tax or GS tax. Duty is only payable on goods that are no made in the US.

I do have a lot of dealers there and some large distributors.

My problem is that it does not seem fair to me to make anyone who wants to buy something from us to have to go through a particular dealer or distributor. It is not fair to our dealers here or our customers who might get better service or even pricing if they bought from a US company.

I try to be as fair as I can but, shipping to Canada is usually a PITA. I think a lot of stems from the fact that most people that do not order much stuff via mail get blindsided and are not sure what to do or say so they just pay it??

You can download a copy of your recipt from the store webpage. Just go to your order and on the right side click on invoice and then print it

if you can get the invoice to say 1 dollar in the insurance part they should get rid of the broker fee,i asked quads guy to send me a invoice that said 1 dollar in the isured part and i got away from the broker fee,we canadians get screwed on shipping to and from the us,we have no small package rate, its not very fair,an american can come to canada and buy all kinds of liquor and cigaretes and go back happy and we have to stay for 48 hours and can only bring back a small amount and then probaly pay duty, its pretty sick,i think the broker fee thing is more of a ups thing, ive had items from the us and never had a broker fee,ups is in court over the fees they charge, their was a link on here somewhere, they are the worst for sure,

Just got back from a short trip from home. 60mph average the whole way, 120.3 miles, 5.5 gallons of fuel. Just short of 22mpg. Average is 21 mpg, so I am happy as of right now.

OK, with 350 post's on this topic, I know the information I am looking for is in there, I just can't find it...so a couple of questions...

1. Does the Milage Max leave a finger print my dealer can find? (100K Warranty)

2. Does it just plug in for use, and then unplug for normal (Going to the dealer) driving?

3. No power increase, correct?

4. Any problems in extremely cold application (down to -20)?

Is there a different box that has a switch that will let me toggle on the fly between normal, added HP (say +50), and milage mode?

Thanks....

I am not an owner of this module (until they come out with one for the 6.7L) but based on what i've read in this thread and elsewhere I will answer what i can.

1. Does the Milage Max leave a finger print my dealer can find? (100K Warranty)

No, the Mileage Max does NOT leave a fingerprint. If you take it off and take your truck to the dealer, they will never know it was there unless you tell them.

2. Does it just plug in for use, and then unplug for normal (Going to the dealer) driving?

Yes, the truck will operate just as it did before you plugged in the module after you take it back off. This is NOT a permanent modification.

3. No power increase, correct?

User-reported smoother RPM band, but NO claimed HP increase. This is a mileage module, not a power module.

4. Any problems in extremely cold application (down to -20)?

No impact, no idea. Since it is being sold into Canada though, i would imagine it has been tested in extreme cold environments.

5. Is there a different box that has a switch that will let me toggle on the fly between normal, added HP (say +50), and milage mode?

This is directly from qzilla: "You can load the Max Mileage Tuning onto the XZT boxes. You cannot (at least at this time) switch power levels without the Commander.

Now, if you have some patience we are working on something for that. If not you can get a 100hp module, load the Max MIleage programming and be able to flip from off- MM- 65hp- 100hp."

Those are good answers.

#4 -20 is fine and within the rated spec of the electronics

The other option that was mentioned is that you can get the X2 100hp box and load the M3 tuning into Power Level 1 and then you can switch between off-M3-power-power-power We have different power levels available for that type of tuning.

I think I'll wait for the XZT box to be built with an "On the fly" switch. I don't really need an extra 100HP. The stock, MM, (20HP OR 40hp) and 60hp will be plenty for me. That will give me the milage when I need it, and A little extra for towing.

the x2 does come with shift on the fly,it comes with a nifty pod that gives you 5 levels to choose from and shows rail presure and boost and coolant temp,if you get the standard x2 you can load the mmm into level 1 and shift on the fly for a boost when towing or whatever.

dads truck
he never drives over 75mph,usually 68-72
90% highway
2,086 miles since install
1/2 empty (18,000)
1/2 loaded (22,000-25,000)

overhead used to read 14.6 on average
overhead has been a consistent 18.6
I KNOW THIS IS NOT HAND CAlCULATED SO BITE YOUR LIP!!
when i get the fuel reciepts/mileage from him i will repost
B-4 M3 the past 65,000 miles(01/07-09/07)he averaged 12.25mpg(5306 gallons)

i know the overhead is off 2.15-2.65 in my truck(depending on speed)
that would equal 16.25 mpg(at 18.6 overhead)

Overhead in my '03 is only good for trend. If it stays the same or goes up I'm doing good. If it goes down I'm doing BAD!

I still say I'd be THE best test goat for the MMM. I drive in a manor to get mpg always!
