30,000lb. Bumper Pull!!! Wow, that will require some massive hitch modification. You could run the Class 9 Air Hitch that is good to 30K and fab up some way of having it sit lower. I bought the Super Hitch that is good to 17K because it lowers my hitch by about 3-4" and then my Air Ride Class 6 should be able to lower the ball back to the height that it sat without the lift and tires.

Yah, It's killing me having the lift just sitting here. Weather and scheduling have been a pain lately, but we are hoping to get some of the brackets welded on this week and hopefully get it in next weekend, or maybe the one after. I have a DSS brace to put in at the same time, and am thinking of indexing my transfer case as well as getting a new front shaft. I really want to be able to torque on it with minimal carnage, so a Thuren Crossover steering kit most likely won't be far behind. I will post up once I get some headway.

I guess I shouldve clarified that 30,000 lbs is on an open trailer and that was a random guess. Im not sure of the actual weight becouse I have never been over the scales anywhere. I have at times had two homogonizers on my trailer and I know they weigh around 8-10,000 each, add a few tools and some thin wall tubing and I guessed that to be around 30,000. Mind you I only had to take those loads 80miles or so. Truck did fine

I guess if you can somehow keep the pin load way down so all the weight is on the trailer's suspension. Still, that is just...WOW!

I dont know if anybody else is using them but I run the swaybars on the hitch that is supposed to move the center of gravity back and give you less tounge weight.

I dont know the specifics of the hows but it does keep the fishtaillin down quite a bit and mad it seem to pull alot straighter.

I think it was only like 350 or 400 hundred for that setup but I dont know I bought it on the same ticket with the enclosed.

The trailer salesman told me that he started selling them after a pair of Ditch witches he was pulling were about to sling him off the road and he bought one off a guy in canada. (is Ditch witch slang for the hot ladies playin bridge at the back of the bar???)

I dont know what those things weigh but I know that we had our race trailer stolen and that was what the theives loaded on our trailer and it bent those ramps all to haities(?).

OK been lookin around and am thinkin I like the Super Singles like American Force wheels has. Does anybody have any experience with these wheels; they come in 22.5" or shaved 22". I have seen both 37" and 40" offroad tires in a 22" rim diameter...what do y'all think??? It'd be a little different which I'm kinda after...
