Anyone install Tranny Temp Adapter on a 68RFE?

Anyone install Tranny Gauge Temp Adapter on a 68RFE?
I have a trans temp gauge on order and was told I need the Tranny temp manifold, and that I have to cut the manifold into my steel cooler line.
Does anyone have any tips or pictures before I attempt this?
