I run an avg of 4k per month running hot shot. Have had the box since Aug so i probably have put about 12 to 16k on the box. I gained an extra 1 to 2 miles per gallon loaded and i get about 2 to 3 more when i'm dragging the trailer empty it weighs 6800. So basically i get 9 to 11 loaded depending on the type of freight and around 11 to 13 with out it loaded. the speed i'm running is 70 to 75 and when i run 75 it does better. I had some code issues but the problem was the plug was not connected very well. I am very happy with it and will gladdly recommend it to anyone.

2003, XZT standard box. 1-2 mpg gain. I'm running 23-25.4 at 60 mph highway mostly empty. No codes, easy to put on, not had a single problem. Good power, good driveability. I'd do it again.

I've run my Race box for about 7-8000 miles. No problems yet but my mileage is down on every setting. I usually run around on the 60hp setting and that only lost me less than .5 mpg. I'd love to see a mileage gain, and I do if I just go by the overhead, but my truck just refuses to work with me there!!!

I have had the standard 0-100 box for 8 months, I have had a few issues. I few codes in the 100 setting attributed to me for changing settings to fast. The thing that bothers me the most is this, I normally run in the 60 and once I changed up to 100 to run for a while there. I was driving normally and the truck stuttered and the CEL lite came on. Three injectors later all was fine again. The o-rings blew on the injectors and filled the crankcase with fuel, Now I don't know if the Quad caused this but it seems the the higher rail pressure might have contributed to the failure. But I have continued to run the box with no further problems.

Coobie, My Codes were p0088 and P0251. The latter when the injectors failed.

I have run the ZXT box for about 4 months now. Had to send it back once for a re-flash to correct a high speed problem (miss) but after it's return is has been very solid. Seemed to increase millage about 2 MPG. We took a recent trip to Pigeon Forge Tenn from Mich and averaged 80 mph and got 21 mpg first 2 tanks and 19.5 next 2 tanks. Was getting about 16-17 highway before the box. Now have 25000 miles on truck. Haven't pulled the fiver since we got the box so this late Dec will tell as we are taking it to Florida. Was getting 9-12 before but truck hadn't broken in yet (under 14000 miles) so this will be the real test of how well it does. Would love to see a fairly consistant 13-15 range but maybe that is too high to expect. Love the increase low end and midrange, it is quite noticable to me.

I have had mine on for about 10000 miles now and have had no problems at all with a mpg increase of 1.5 to 2 . A very easy install with my only problem being figuring out were they wanted me to go through the firewall from thier instructions and with a quick call they solved that problem .

Once again thanks for all the input guys. Sounds like it is a safe way to go that works and now I just need to find some spare cash.

I installed mine yesterday. Took it for a 30 mile test drive this morning, and it's one of those mods where you kick yourself for not installing it sooner. I would have bought it just for the increase in mpg, the kick in the back when you press the go pedal is just an added bonus. I gained about 3mpg empty, I was getting around 17-18 mpg at 65 mph, now it's showing 20-21, using the overhead. I do a regular run between TN and MD and keep track of my fuel usage, I'm heading back down in a few weeks, I'm anxious to see how it does on this next trip. I'm also curious to see how it does with the trailer hooked up.
Installation was super easy. Thanks! Scott

The overhead is being fooled and is way off now. Only way to check your gains/losses is hand calc'n now.

Thanks. Guess it'll be awhile till I know for sure. Still have half a tank, no long trips planned until the middle of the month. Don't want to fill up just yet, diesel prices seem to be dropping daily around here. Oh well, at least I had that small ray of happiness where I thought I might be able to break the 20 mpg barrier without having to go 55 mph all the time.
