i have the pdf manual for my truk but i cant for the life of me find the section what deals with the speedo,i tried cutting the wire from the abs to get rid of the speedlimiter but it also gives me very low power,i tried all settings on the pred too,even stock it feels like its way less power with the wire cut,im trying a test and i want to cut the wire goig to the speedo itself and see if that works,can any wiring gurus help me out or someone who can read the manual better than me haha

 

You cannot just cut the wire or toggle it off like some vehicles.

If you want to beat the limiter you need a piece of electronics that will pass the frequency through but, cap it before you reach the factory limit. Like around 100mph or so.

They use a 5v square wave to produce a frequency and you have to repeat that. Gonna take something with a little bit of smarts on it to do so.

We have flirted with this idea but, never really saw a huge demand, especially if it is cut and splice.

 

but wouldnt cutting the 5v signal all together cause the limiter to not work?i tried the speed sensor onthe abs module but it seems to give me less power,i would like to try to cut the signal to the speedo close to the speedo,if u know the wire to do this i would aprieicate it,just wanna try it,thanx
