Hey I was just wondering who has stacked a triple dog with a Torque Dog. Like it or not? good or bad? Just wanting some info on it thanks

it appears to be a good stack i hope to get some dyno and track time this weekend.the downside if there is one is that i use the 03-04 version of the tq dog so it doesnt add any timing and i get some slight surging when the cruise is on and tq management off .from what i hear some trucks this happens to some doesnt i was promised if i switched to the 04.5-05 tq dog there would be no surging at all....

 

I put my friends TQ dog on my truck and i could tell a little bit of difference. His was for an 03/04

 

i can tell a huge difference with my mods and just the tq dog when stacked with the cl it still feel it some sotp...

 

how much is used TQ dogs going for now days?

Isn't an mp-8 the same thing?

 

the mp 8 is an excellent pressure box but it also advances timing as well.i am sure denis could rig something up with out timing in it though....

It is not direct timing...

No worries Luken. It is the psudo timing from more fuel sooner due to higher pressure theory.
