Well 2 Question Will A Older Bully Dog Downloader For 03-04 Ctd Work On A 07 5.9ctd If So Does Anyone Have Crazy Or Scary Larry To Load On It It's Not The Td Downloader And Also If The Previous Owner Didnt Return Their Truck To Stock Can The Downloader Be Reset Or Did I Just **** Away Money On A Useless Item Thanks

 

What model is your truck? If the person before you did not return truck to stock it will not work, you will have to contact Bully Dog.

 

ITS A 07 QC 2500 4X4 5.9CTD SB AUTO THE FORMER OWNERS TRUCK WAS A 04 QC 3500 4X4 DRW 6SPD IT WAS THE 305 555 MOTOR SO DO YOU THINK BULLY DOG CAN DELETE THE FORMER OWNERS VIN FROM IT SO I CAN USE IT AND IF SO KNOW ANYONE THAT HAS THE CRAZY LARRY OR SCARY LARRY PROGRAM

 

Bully Dog can fix it, but if the downloader is not a Triple Dog i am pretty sure its not for your year model truck. Hey i'm no expert, but i would contact Bully Dog.

If it is an older Power Pup that says on the initial splash screen it works on 03-04.5 Dodge or on 04.5-05 Dodge then it is either a 42566 or 42567 (Bully Dog Part #s) and it will not work on a 2006 or newer Dodge, including your truck

If it says it will work on a 2006 Dodge or 2003-2007 Dodge on the initial screen then it is a 42572 or 42573 (again Bully Dog Part #s) it will work on your truck, but might need a software upgrade.

 

well if it is the part number that does not work can bully dog help me out on that, if not im just gonna trash the power pup and get the smarty or TST instead, because it shouldnt be that hard if in case it doesnt work that a wipe and reprogram shouldnt be able to fix

 

The firmware is where the problem lies. It is not just as easy as reprogramming. Now, if you are really thinking about trashing it, just PM me and I will email you my shipping address and a call tag for it.
