Amsoil EAA189 or Ea189 - same thing
Amsoil EAA189 or Ea189 - same thing?
Was looking for a better drop-in filter for my '06 and found this thread comparing the Amsoil Ea189 and the Napa Gold 2846.
In the thread, most people refer to the Amsoil as an "Ea189". However, according to Amsoil, the part number appears to be "EAA189". Also, all google searches refer to EAA189.
Can someone please verify the part number for me? Thanks,

I have one and really like it. Didn't want to fool with cleaning and oiling. My original filter would pull the F.minder down over halfway. Now it doesn't move, even when I put race on level 3 and go close to 3500 rpm.
that's good enough for me. Esp for about 32 bux. NanoNano

I just put one in my truck less than 500 miles ago so I cant tell you much. I do like the fact that I dont have to clean and oil it(too much time)....just use the compressor to blow air thru it and you're done!!
