AltecRunning Board LEDS installed!
Take a peak into my GALLERY and check-out the new Altec LEDS. I installed them with 3M double-sided grey tape. They are wired to the fog lights.
I like them
but some might not.
They serve these 3 purposes for me:
1 - They provide additional safety by illuminating the side of the truck at night.
2- They light-up the step bars so one can see where the bars are in the dark.
3 - They look cool to me
Let me know what you guys think....

They are the Altec Amber LED Screamer Lites. www.AltecProducts.com
They are 57" long and were very easy to install. I bought mine from Summit Racing.
They come with tabs that you are supposed to drill and screw into the sheetmetal on the bottom of the car. I did NOT as I don't like drilling into a new truck.
I opted for the 3M Grey/Red tape. This is the STRONGEST 3M double-sided tape.
1 - Measure the distance from the front of the cab to the rear of the cab. Mark where the center is. I installed the lights so that they were centered and have then same distance from the front of the cab (about 11") and the rear of the cab.
2 - I cleaned the area very well with rubbing alcohol and then cleaned the LED lights.
3 - I installed the 3M tape to the back of the LED light bar.
4 - I then installed the LED lights VERY CAREFULLY and SLOWLY on the bottom curved area below the truck.
5 - I pressed the LED bar so that the tape sticks properly to the body. I used a firm constant pressure.
6 - I ran the wire loom thru the fenderwell area and then spliced the wires into the fog light wiring assembly.
The lights turn on with the fog lights. They are not going anywhere. The 3M tape is stronger than the double-sided tape they use to hold the Dodge and Cummins emblems.

I really like them, but I would have wired them into the parking lamps! That way you wouldn't have to run the fogs to have them come on!! Just my OPINION but hey they look great! How much did they run ya??
