Hey guys i got my dash in and the message center lights working. I thought i'd pass along some data. LED's cant be used here, Our trucks use a ground as the activation of these lights, hooking a LED up backwards from what you think is right will allow them to work, BUT the antilock and brake light will not go out, they will dim a bit. Save yourself some headaches and go with bulbs, i got mine at radio shack.

Where did you end up putting the bulbs? Did you run new wires or sort through the old message center wires and use them?

 

After extending the wires from the original PCB, I placed the lights off to the side in my mess. I've still got to label things.

 

Wow, it looks like a computer in an old sci-fi movie! The more blinking lights you have, the better the computer is.

LOL i only used 4. ant lock , brake , water in fuel and wait to start, it never gets low enough for low fuel light. I left the small board just sodered wires on to the copper, wrapped it in tape and tucked it in a nice spot out of the way. Ill go snap a pic right quick.
