Just wanted to see which air filters are being used.

 

I have not done it yet but think I have decided on a scotty .I have been reading for ever on this subject and still not 100% sure . I had KNN on my last truck and the tube had dirt in it that got past the filter a lot more than I thought it should . I was very careful when I oiled it and know that was not the problem . The truck did breath good but I buy a filter to filter not just breath better . I like a dual filter approach and feel that is the better way to go . Some of the companyes are making claims like 2 ,3 MPG which I find hard to believe when thier is not a big difference in air flow on most of them .

There are people on this site that are reporting mileage improvements with all the Scotty intakes. I was skeptical myself so I took the shaker off and put the Scotty 3 on my truck. I learned a lot from that change and one thing for sure is it did improve the mileage. Shocked me.

Folks with Scotty 2's are reporting improvements too.
