I saw it too...it worried me too.
Luken's SPS 66 is on the stock manifold and downpipe.....my SPS 6280 is on my stock down pipe, ATS manifold.
Don't ask me why
The best me and my DTT builder (also II distributor) can figure is that pre 04.5 trucks need the HX40 downpipe....since 03-04 trucks had smaller turbos maybe

It has been a while since I went down this road, and I just replaced everything all at once. I do recall the stock elbow before the downpipe being somewhat smaller and appreciably more restrictive than my setup. See photo............ I also know that HTT and possibly others can match your turbo to almost any stock type configuration.
This photo is of my Super B before the Killer B2(64) was installed.
