AEM Water/Meth Kits?
AEM Water/Meth Kits?
A buddy of mine has a AEM water/meth kit he took off his Subaru STI awhile back. His kit is tailored for a gas vehicle, but it doesn't appear too much different from their diesel kit. The pump for the gas kit just says pump, and the pump for the diesel kit says HD pump. When you look at their parts page, there's only one option for the pump. The other difference between the two kits is 1 nozzle for gas and 2 nozzles for diesel, which can be added. Anyway, I can likely pick this kit up for nearly free and thought I'd ask some opinions on the kit. I've attached the links to both. Would this be a decent kit once I upgraded some of the parts like the tank, additional nozzles, etc? What all would I need? Also how does this kit compare to say Snow or Devils Own? Just trying to save a few bucks!

Let me know what you think.
Thanks in advance!

Kevin, you're not making enough boost to have an issue with pump overhead - 1 nozzle cools EGT much better than none, so IMO it's worth the money.
Main thing you'll need to address is stage initiation - gasser could use MAP, EGT or RPM activation.
BTW - how's your baby doin'?
