My cooling mist varicool kit works great. easy to install 250 psi pump and cools 200 + degrees. I like it so far.

You guys really think there are BETTER mods out there than this H2O/METH? I've been reading up on the SNOW Stage II. The only negatives i 've ran into so far have been:
Noticeable if under warranty, and you have to shut the injection off a bit before you stop the truck to evaporate H2O remains to keep from rusting.

The water should not be injected at low boost, so I highly doubt the need to shut off and let idle for a while.

they say to shut off early before shutting truck down in case of failure where the meth still flows into the intake. that would cause it to pool up, and could hydro lock the motor. i just insatlled my snow kit, but haven't tested it yet, still trying to figure out my injector install issues. but i mounted the 2 nozzels on the lower part of my high ram intake, which if there was a problem, it will pool up in the boost tube or inner cooler, not in the intake.

At what boost psi does your pressure switch turn on the water. Alot of guys seem to turn it on at 15-20 psi, which if that was the case, unless you went from wide open to off it should easily clean out what little spray there is. I understand what you are saying about the hydro lock, but the way I have wired them in the past, would not run without oil pressure and 15psi of boost. I had to have ignition on, oil pressure and 15psi manifold psi for it to run. Without all, it would not power the relays.

Thanks for the help (pullin hard). It really shouldn't be to much of a biggy as when you're towing heavy, it's good to "cool" the turbo before shutting completely down also.
